We follow your doctor’s instructions and send timely written reports so he/she is informed of your progress. A licensed physical therapist is an expert on analyzing how the body (spine, shoulders, hips, knees, ankles etc.) move and function. We apply targeted manual therapy techniques, modalities, teach individualized flexibility and stability exercises and teach strategies to help patients regain effective function for work, play, childcare, sports, travel and life. With four years for an undergraduate science degree plus three years to obtain Doctor of Physical Therapy, we are well trained to teach patients about their injury/condition, pain management tools and a tailored home exercise program so patients are not relying on us for prolonged treatments. Since 1994, EMH Physical Therapy has been helping patients with a wide range of injuries and conditions achieve optimum health and function. We have helped athletes return to sport, seniors improve gait and balance, women regain strong pelvic floor muscles, kids heal from knee and ankle pain. Many of our patients return to us for treatment of new injuries and refer their friends and family for our expert care. PT appointment or ask a question to our director, EVELYN HECHT, PT, ATC |
